Above their heads, a small bud quietly emerged.
Qiao Xi smiled. “Really don’t want to? But I really want you to hold me.”
“I don’t want to. I can’t hold you,” the bud began to shake.
Qiao Xi narrowed her eyes, coaxing him. “Lu Huo, lower your head a bit.”
Lu Huo’s pitch-black eyes were moist, and he cooperated by lowering his head.
Qiao Xi smiled and reached out her hand, firmly pinching the tip of that bud. The young man in the wheelchair trembled as if struck by something heavy.
Lu Huo’s consciousness dispersed, and he took a deep breath, the depths of his pitch-black eyes filled with extreme delight.
